Grow Awareness. Show Support.Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness
October 13th is Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Awareness Day
MBC Awareness Day is a day to grow awareness and recognition for MBC patients and to inspire others to show their support.
You can help grow MBC awareness by sharing what you learn on this site. Each time you share from this page to Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest, AstraZeneca will make a donation to two MBC advocacy groups—Living Beyond Breast Cancer and Metastatic Breast Cancer Network.
How Deep Is Your MBC Knowledge?
Did you know that approximately 30% of people initially diagnosed with early breast cancer will develop metastatic breast cancer?
Learn about this less understood stage of breast cancer. Then share it with friends and encourage them to learn and share.
Remember, every share results in a donation to an advocacy group that supports women living with MBC!
Show Your Support
You can grow MBC awareness by posting a flower that celebrates women with metastatic breast cancer. Save this image and make it your Facebook profile picture for the month of October to show your support and inspire others.
Let your friends know that a post from this site is a donation for MBC advocacy.
Share Your MBC Story
MyMBCStory is a Web site exclusively for women living with MBC. It’s a place where a woman with MBC can find inspiration to tell her story and share it with friends and family in a bound and printed photo book.Go to MyMBCStory
